Savon de Marseille was established in Australia over 9 years ago, as an importer and wholesaler of unique and specialised French soaps, home fragrances and associated gift ware. We are now a family owned Australian small business servicing a network of Gift and Homeware Stores, French boutiques, Pharmacies, Perfumeries, Designers, Florists, Interior Decorators and selected resellers throughout all States.
We operate our warehouse and showroom in new premises in Penrith, NSW, and service the retail trade by exhibiting at the GHA Gift and Homeware Trade Fairs in February in Sydney, and August in Melbourne. We have a Sales Agent in NSW representing us to our many and varied resellers.
All Savon de Marseille products are carefully selected and imported directly from 8 manufacturers from Provence, Normandy, Cote d’Azur and Paris, to bring you the very best in traditional and modern soaps, home fragrances and French gifts. Each rural region of France has its own identity, its own flavours and scents.
Our selection of French soaps offer you the uniqueness in their traditional design and manufacturing techniques. Some are still being made the traditional way since the early 18th century using cauldrons, hand cutters, and a hundred year old press to stamp the famous name of ‘SAVON DE MARSEILLE' .They use only the most traditional of essentials oils from the world renowned Provence region the birth place of the perfume industry, salt water from the Mediterranean Sea and olive oil from the local olive trees.
